What? How? Why?
So while waiting for the bus today I saw the most horrible thing I have ever witnessed. It wasn't a murder and maybe I haven't experienced enough, but what I saw was just shear meanness. Someone could have been seriously injured and maybe even died because of insolent jerks. It was at a red light and there was an old lady in her car waiting for the light to change. Behind her was a car with two grown men probably in their late twenties. These men had the nerve to honk their horn causing the old lady to think the light had changed and speed ahead into the oncoming traffic. She thankfully stopped right in front of the light and saved herself and others from being hurt. It doesn't seem that bad, but when I looked in the car the men were hysterical laughing. They found enjoyment out of watching an old lady almost kill herself. She was so innocent and they were so mean. It really killed me inside to know there are people like this. It actually hurt me and made me want to just run away from the scene. If something terrible had happened, I would have been heart broken and I don't even know the lady. I don't like people being mean to others. I wish everyone would just get along. Intentional meanness is the absolute worst. Why not just be a good person? It might do them good.

Cheaty McCheatyPants
Oh yeah rant style. Here we go, something i absolutely can not stand is people who cheat. I don't mean cheat on their boyfriends or girlfriends, that is bad and I don't like those people, but I really mean people who cheat on tests. It shouldn't be and isn't really a big deal to people but it really bothers me. Now I'm a little bit of a hypocrite because i cheated on a test once in like the second grade. I knew the answer but I couldn't remember it and then all the sudden people were passing their tests up to me and i saw it and wrote it down and have felt incredibly guilty ever since and have never cheated again. I don't like the people who cheat on every test though. First of all it's stupid. Most likely the person your cheating off of got the answer wrong so then what your wrong while you could have just studied and got the answer right by yourself. It's also stupid because if you do get caught that's really bad, that can go on your permanent record and then no colleges will accept cheaters. It's a lack of respect from teachers as well. Are people really that stupid and lazy to cheat? I don't get it, seems bad to me.

A Little Thing Called a Brain
It shouldn’t be difficult to read an analog clock. Nonetheless, people have trouble with it, and instead of attempting to think about it for five seconds they just look at a digital clock. Suddenly, only palpable information is allowed to enter the mind. If it can not be clearly seen and spelled out, it can’t enter, only things that are blatantly obvious. I don’t understand. People are torpid, in every single way. Why bother to take a moment and figure it out, they’re lazy. They feel like it is superfluous to have to use their brain. Like there is no point to it. My generation is heading for a downward spiral. Are teenage brains suddenly impregnable to knowledge? Did we somehow put up a roadblock to information? I’m not saying that people who can actually read an analog clock should be venerated or worshiped for their ability to tell time. This isn’t even about clocks. I am simply saying people should challenge themselves mentally. Some teenagers are even spurious. They put up a façade and are not true to their personalities because they think acting dumb would get people to like them more. Apparently people are intimidated by smart girls. The façade however is only going to get them back. They expect a sinecure job. They want to make a lot of money, but not really do any work for it. This job however doesn’t really exist.
The need for teenagers to use their brains to accomplish tasks is suddenly obsolete. This is thanks to things like Google and Facebook. Sure, people can type fast but the past leaders of our world didn’t get where they did by googling answers to homework, they used their minds which is something we fail to do. I’m not saying Google is bad, but I do feel it is over used. There a million, a myriad even, of things we can discover if we only unplug for the technical world around us for a moment, and look around.
